O.K., I have a question, because I thinking of making a 10 gallon Croy tank and I'm curious it different species of crory will school together. I'm thinjking of 1 albino, 1-2 panda's, and 3-4 pygmys. Will the albino school with the pandas? I kinda think the pygms will mind their own buisness due to their personality.

from what i've seen, they're not too fussy about who they school with

I have never seen cories that spend a lot of time with other cories that were not the same kind. The albino is not a type, it is a color and will school with the type that it is. If it is an albino paleatus it will school with paleatus. If it is an albino aeneas it will school with aeneas. I don't think there are albino pandas available so it will probably not school with a panda. All cories are content to hang out on the bottom with any other cory but to get schooling action you need all the same. I have about 10 cories in my 120 gallon who all spend most of their time at or near the bottom and are often near each other but the 2 pandas actually swim together a lot and the 3 paleatus also hang together a lot. In most of my tanks the cories are in groups of 6 or more so I can see the difference in action between those tanks and my big community. All of the cories are healthy happy fish but the real schooling action goes on in the large groups of the same type.

I have 8 cory juilli and 4 albino corys. The albinos stick together and kinda ignore the others.
