soo.. one of my green cories is hiding uder a rock and sort of heavily breathing. is this normal? i know they heavy breathe after going crazy sometimes but she was here maybe a long time. pregnant behavior?

Pictures? What are the other tank mates?

She may have been chased by other bigger tank mates. How long has she been there? (Approximately)

a few hours. there are 5 other cories, 2 swordtails and a whole lotta guppies. perhaps it was the male cories? or people stealing her food. her fins are down but thats probably bc shes well under a rock

i cannot ge tpictures right now, she looks to maybe be resting because when i got her she had a missing barbule and seemed to be chill. the barbule is growing back and seems to be better, its a bigger stub now

She probably just got startled by something. Pictures will help when you get a chance.

nope, not startled, full on bullying, she died today morning :( ToT i think the warranty is 2 weeks so i can get another one. probably one of the swordtails. they are pretty nosy . i might do a little water change today, dont want ammonia everywhere

I’m sorry for your loss... :(

Remove the body so ammonia doesn’t build up. Are any of the other fish showing similar symptoms?

Nope none at all. I got a bigger one so she will be up the pecking order :) hehe the tank water was so pure the employee at petsmart was confused why the ammonia tester didnt change color. I am on my way to 200 hardness too!

It happends sometimes. Sorry for your loss.
Corys do so many weird things that things can be difficult to determine if its sick or not

I bought these 2 Albinos last weekend & 1 of them was very lathargic the next day, But the day after perked up & joined the others
