Hey all I just recently added a baby Sterbai cory to my 15 gallon tank. I have 2 panda corys in with him they are very happy. I know that sterbai can grow fairly large (for corys) which is why I got him. How long until he is full grown?

Corydoras sterbai can attain 65mm (2.6 inches). C. panda can attain 50mm (2 inches). The rate of growth and the mature size depends upon various factors such as genetics, water parameters and conditions, foods, the environment generally (numbers, other species, décor).

Cories should be in a group of at least five, but more is always better. This can be a combination of species, though some species do seem to prefer their own more than others. But subject to your tank size, I would look into acquiring another two or three (or more) cories. A couple more C. sterbai would probably be best, and another panda or two.

Thanks a lot, I will be adding another panda and sterbai within the next few days.
