You can buy aeration tablets. But don't know much about them as I have never used them.

Leaning to oneside can also be bacterial, swim bladder, internal parasites.
Does he look bloated.

no hes not bloated quite normal apart from the hole and swimming slightly to 1 side......

just searched the garage and found an old air pump thats not 100% but its pumping air at least...
considering as i thought he was dead this morning just sat on the bottom on his side hes perked up a bit! i have no filter in the bucket just the old air pump and a heater so will have to keep an eye on the water stats....

i WILL save him!!!!

maybe shouldnt have put that last bit might have jinxed my chances..............

I don't believe in Jinxes so he will be fine.
Well the snow has been rushing it down and around 5" deep and there are 170 schools closed down in UK, my college has as well. So if you're not going to work then you could have another day free with your cory and maybe do a water change in the bucket. Even though he is ill he seems like a really nice colour i don't know if it is the pics but he looks more golder than the others thats why i didn't recognise the type of cory he or she is, as i have seen them before.
Hope the cory makes it & any ideas why he has a chunk missing?

the little fella didnt make it through the night im affraid , i was still caring for him until midnight last night but had to go bed some time......
no idea what happened to him unless it was just some kind of injury from the bogwood! but it doesnt seen sharp so still not too sure... when i left him he was swimming to the surface in a spiral manor to get air then almost like colapsing on the bottom of the bucket on his side motionless. really gutted as he was a wild caught fish and i was going to try and use him to spawn my females when old enough, i still have some males left and theyre doing fine so i still have a nice set up to try with.

He didn't sound good.
They do spin and fall to the bottom when there dying. it's awful to watch.
