Cory Eggs

Hi

I watched my cory lay many eggs this morning, but each time she laid some on the glass the other cory and other fish kept eating them. Any ideas how to save the eggs?

Buy a breeding net. It will keep fish from eating the eggs and it will still let the eggs get water flow.

Let her lay them on the glass and have the male fertilize them then scrape the eggs off the glass and put them in the net.

Actually, during the t-formation, the female take sperm into her mouth. As she deposits the eggs on the glass, she spits the sperm onto them.


That being said, not it will not be okay to keep her in a net. Once she runs out of special juice in her mouth, she wouldn't be able to get a refill if she is in the net. Just is bristlenoseitplecoman said, gently roll the eggs onto our finger and move them to the net. The place the net where it will get good current and filtration.
