im thinking of trying to breed my cory catfish but i dont want to buy another tank so what i was think of doing is when i see eggs on the walls use a razer blade to get them off the wall and put some in the Lee's Multi-Purpose 3-Way Breeders. would this work at all? im not really looking for a huge profit just something to do. also if it would work could i feed the baby cory's Hikari First Bites?

I find that I can just roll the eggs off on my finger. I feed my fry on Hikari First Bites so no reason you can't too.

I've successfully bred my panda corys with no effort from me. I have a sand substrate, natural plants, and a made a few caves/coves for the corys to hang out in.

My baby corys, when I first saw them, popped out from under the slate cave and the area under a large piece of driftwood. I've gotten 3 corys twice without feeding anything special, without saving the eggs, without going out of my way at all. But, that wasn't my goal. My goal was just to have a "happy" habitat for them. The spawning was gravy.

My only point in saying this is: you don't necessarily need a separate tank for breeding. But, if you are looking to get better returns than 6 in 6 months, you probably do need a separate tank.
