Correct Temperature?

Could some one please advise me of the correct temperature for my platies, mollies & gouramis. I live in Queensland, Australia and the temp. seems to raise to 29 degrees + celcius during hot weather which worries me.

The heater onlyoperates in 2 degrees eg; 26 to 24 and so on, so I can't go from say 26 to 25, if that makes sense.

I set mine for about 26degrees or so.

As for the hot weather, it's much easier to keep the correct temp when your house is airconditioned!

Thanks for that Chris-Qld. Tend to usually only have ceiling fan on unless it gets unbearable then on with the aircon.

I generally set mine for 24-26 depending on the weather, AC etc. Generally my tanks are 2-3 degrees hotter than what I set them anyway, so it's more of a precaution for me.

i have both my tanks set at 27-28 and my fish seem to love it.
