I need some help deciding whether to choose cories or kuhliis for my 125liter tank. In a previous topic on the subject of what fish I should have, I was recommended to have either cories or kuhlii loaches (rather than two small groups of 4 which I originally planned for because I like them both). Heres the previous topic http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=309810

This is the stocking plan so far:

2 Honey Gouramis
8 Harlequin Rasboras
2 Sheepshead Acaras
4 Apple Snails
5 Amano Shrimps
and 8 Sterba's Cories/Kuhlii Loaches

I like them both, and can't decide which one i like more :S ! I will just choose which one is better suited to my tank. Any advice and pointers would be appreciated and thanks for help in advance.

Get both.
Kuhlis are very low on bioload, sure they might be 4" long but they're a very slim bodied fish, not much to them at all.
I'd go for 6-8 corys and 6-8 Kuhlis. I had both in my 125L and now in my 72Gal.

Thanks for the advice and speedy reply :good:
I'm just concerned that the tank might get overstocked ???? ? Also the floor space is 81x35, so will that be enough for 12-16 bottom dweller fish?

Ok- thanks for your advice :D .

So my updated stocking plan is:

2 Honey Gouramis
8 Harlequin Rasboras
2 Sheepshead Acaras
4 Apple Snails
5 Amano Shrimps
6 Sterba's Cories
6 Kuhlii Loaches

thanks again for your advice :good:
