I bought one yesterday

Its lovely and looks realy impressive when it comes out. Its still quite skitty but cuts a dash when it patrols the front of the tank

I read a fair bit about the potential to eat corals so if i do see that it will have to be returned but on another forummost people have only positive experiences

what do people on here think of them?

Simon

one of the least likey of the dwarf angels to touch corals ime, they do spend a lot of time bobbing in and out of rock work, not really an open water swimmer

cheers Ben

he doesn;t spend that much yet out in the open. looks lovely though when he does

he probably never will, mine spend their time cruising through the rocks, angels on the real reef stay close to the rock

Aye should be fine the dwarf angels are generaly safe I was dubios adding a dwarf as you can guarranty it will start munching on my blasto so went for a Genicanthus bellus which are one of the most safest reef angles

My CB spends all it's time swimming in and out of caves and holes, stunning fish

they are stunning Sorgan and to be honest looking at him now I;m glad he comes in and out the rock as he adds more mystique to it!!

My one has a serrated dorsal fin at the front and serrated at the back of his lower fin. When I am feeding he extends both fins to really show off, I belive he wants to be a perch when he grows up :)

i had one in my tank simon, really lovely fish, beautiful too watch in and out of the rock, i was warned that he may nip at the corals, but i didnt ever have the problem :)

seems like everyone on here whos had marine gets them!! lol I went to get a royal gramma but ended up being swayed by the looks of this one

makes your tank feel bigger i think, cos they dont always catch your eye straight away, then it wil pop out.

it fed aswell last night on mysis so all is good!! touch wood!!!

We have one as well, stunning fish. Ours has never touched any of our corals (only softies with a few LPS). Our one does HATE our clownfish though (and so did our royal gramma, poor old nemo :) ).

Ours cruises around the rockwork most of the time. See it a lot more now that we have rearranged the tank and have a more open structure. Ours feeds on everything from flake to frozen but it took a little while to get used to the flake food.

cheers Barney

mines just spat out the flake and wasn;t a huge fan of mysis but devoured the brine shrimp with garlic last night. I;m sure as he settles he'll go for everything
