Just wondering if anyone can tell me how the coral beauty acts? Is it really shy or boisterous, does it swim mainly around the rocks, or out in the open? I'm looking for a final fish to add to my tank, and i love the look of it, but am afraid it may be in hiding too much for my liking. I already have a blenny and a goby so there is enough of the darting/hiding thing going on already.
Thanks!

I have one - it's not so shy you'll never see it, and given the tank mates you have, I think it'll be fine.

Mine likes to cruise around the LR picking off bits of algae. If you don't see it when you first sit by the tank just wait a minute and it'll be round again pretty soon. Doesn't tend to 'go missing' for days at a time like some angels will.

Go for it!

Yeah, they dont really hide but they are cautious...theyre not going to swim up to the glass and check you out like say a trigger or puffer would :p

I've heard nothing but good things about C. solandri. The trick is to keep them fed, and indeed it would seem that if they never get hungry enough to bother attacking a snail, then they won't gain a taste for them. My menagerie of "un reef safe" fish hasn't bothered much.

the coolest thing about puffers is their personality. That's just the thing though. Each one has their own, they may or may not behave how you want them to. Its like getting a dog that you can't discipline, you can only attempt to modify or influencetheir behavior
