Hi Folks
I would like to get a coral banded shrimp to control my bristleworm population, but am worried about possible agression towards my seahorses? Does anyone have any advice?
Thanks
Lee

It is not something I would do myself. I think the CBS can be fairly aggressive and I would worry about the interactions. I have seen the two species mixed at the Seattle Washington and Long Beach California Aquariums.

IME bristleworms aren't really a problem, if your tank is large enough (maybe 70g range) you might look into some of the fish that go after the worms if they bother you that much.

not quite sure if six line wrasses mix well with seahorses but one thing for sure is that mine eliminated my bristleworm population is just a few weeks! Not sure if thats a good thing or not cause brsitleworms arent that bad. Despite the fact that they are somewhat ugly, can eat fish, and sting aquarists, they are good scavengers and will help you munch on the leftover food none of your other tank inhabitants can reach.
