Copper

AS Above

I thought his fins were healing.
I went to the House to pick up the 3Gallon tank and Dividers and Supplies, to build for my Freinds Tank that i am giving him.

Well I fed Copper and Dragon - They are Still Making Nests.

Copper ate, but I scooped him out of the water with a WHITE net, so that I could see his Fins Clearer.
3/4 of his Anal was RED
5/6 of His Tail Was A Deep Pink Color and Bloody.

Emergency Action. Boiled a Pair of Scissors and CUT OFF the worst of the Bleeding Red Fins.

Then Redosed with a Tiny amount of Melafix and added a Fresh Almond Leaf.

I am Returning My Angels @ Lunch.
What meds should I get him.

HIS COLORS ARE AMAZING NOW - Ranging from Bright Violet to Gold and A Deep Brown Black.

Please Help I do Not want to Loose Him, after Spending so much time choosing him and the cost of him aswell.

Nice bettas...

But who is Narinder and why the hell would they flush a fish? What a cruel thing to do!!!! I cant believe anyone would do that! Would take more than an apology for me to forgive that -_-

reddening of the fins is due to either a bacterial infection, parasites, ammonia or nitrite highs.
keep an eye on the water quality to make sure it is always pristine and salt the water to .2%
add 1 level teaspoon per gallon and then 12 hours later the same again. if you do water changes then remember to add the salt back. tonic salt works best for bettas.

i wouold of stabbed her :/ flush something she loves down the toilet and see if she thinks its funy

GSL, that might be "just" an expression, but don't you think wanting to stab someone is a bit harsh - no matter what ? :/

Lol You Guys.

Narinders My Wife.
Copper is Doing Better. This evening.
I medicated as instructed by Bettaman.
The Problem is My Water - Too many Metals in the Water Pipes. THis should clear in a Few Months.
I never thought of the New Pipework @ the house and it causing a Problem.

I was on a Half Day today. So I spent the Afternoon Looking after the Fish.
Loaded the back seat of Dads Car with 50 Litres of Decholrinated water.
Tore down the Tanks and Cleaned them all.
Added Easy Balance and Filled again.
It has Only Affected Copper
Dragon was not affected.
He Seems Alot happier now the Infected fins have been Removed.
I will Keep an Eye on Him Over the Weekend.

Thanks for the Input.

i agree with what you saying but be careful with evaporation of water or the concentration of salt can go up to higher levels use a hydrometer if need be.......

Hey Guys,

Been Busy, not on here much.

Copper Looks Much Better Now. His FIns are Growing now, Tetra Easy Balance worked.

I have added him to the Hex for a While, and he is enjoying exploring the tank and interacting with other fish.

I added some Ottos and Frogs last weekend and he enjoys following the Frogs round the Hex.
