Cooli Loach

Hi Everyone,
I just purchased a Cooli Loach at the LFS and on the information tag it says that they do indeed eat flake food??? How do I get food to him if he nevers comes out from the castle in my tank?
Any ideas?

please dont tell me you only bought 1 you will never see him go to the LFS and buy 5 more and you will see more of them, they will take mots foods including flakes.

yes do as truck says they need a little group,i have6 in my tank i dont see them for weeks then just these last couple of days i have seen them all out feeding i love them, but you must go get more.i have plastic plants and they climb up them,really funny watching them,,kenny

thay like to be it a big group and will eat anything and everything like most loaches lol. there take carnivore pellets, Sinking wafers and algea wafers aswell as anything that sinks to the bottom, even known mine to have a go at the veg i put in for the plecs.

They eat all sinking foods that my corys eat - and they share with the corys too.
As said you need at least 6, which is OK because Kuhli's are low on the bio-load.
The more hiding places your give them, the more they will come out and play =)
