What type of fish go good with Convicts?

so I pondered and pondered a bit more, found a few drinks, looked out side to see if the fireworks had started yet, and then it hit me. in a tank that size this is the list that I would put in that tank if it were here in my house right now. the basic set up would be:
lots of rocks, to form caves, drift wood, and a plastic plants, nothing real cause they would just be torn appart by the cons and everything else alike.

herichthys carpinte 'laguna charel'
crenicichla spcies from the reticulata group but only one, otherwise it would just turn into a blood bath.
archocentrus centarchus
satanoperca daemon

assorted plecos for cleaning up.

Vinny Kutty's site this man knows ALOT about pikes, basically go through the list of species paying attention to the group that the pikes belong to, and go for the pikes that belong to the Reticulata group.

Good God those are some nasty coloration of fish, I think I should just get rid of the convicts and stick with Africans.
