got over 50 convict fry in a seperate tank any idead on where i can sell them or anything? i live in poole area in dorset

Could try making toast with it...

Oh ;) You can sell them around the 1" mark I reckon, though advertise them a bit before and someone might have them off you. Try on forums and Aquarist Classified for example, then if all else fails, see if your LFS will take them off you. Good luck

Trade it, gumtree & eBay. Mine all went within hours and I has 200+ over about 3 months :)

how much were you selling them for then, i have no idea what home bread ones are worth

Bread? I think you mean bred.

You will be lucky to get any more than 50p-£1 each for them as they BREED extremely easily and have massive broods. Suprised you only had 50.

Good luck!

thanks, well theres more then 50 i just got bored counting them lol

You'll be lucky to sell standard stripy Cons for anything more than 20p each at 1"

Otherwise you'll be stuck with them.

Pinks or Marbles will go for about 75p-£1 each.

personally i couldnt sell mine on AC, here or Ebay so i fed them to my Jag.

I am thinking 50p each for my Honduran Red Points tbh, which i think is fair... so i would price convicts accordingly... Obviously don't sell yourself short, but you may struggle unless you can find a lfs that will give you some shop credit for them.

IM not sure what they will come out like atm, as they wont be pure convicts. I bought something like a convict but diffrent colours to a normal one. so will be a cross breed!

In what way is it not a convict but like a convict? Any pics? We will be able to help you out with an I.D. then :)

i will get some up shortly, all i know for now is when its breeding it goes completely convict coloured but the rest of the time it has blue yellow and orange on the fins and yellow eyes.
