Convicts - Anything With Them?

ive had 4 pairs in one comunity before. they just all defend their area and chase intruders away, none of my fish wer injured or anything and i wasnt even trying to pair them! had no idea of the genders.
there is but 2 pairs now and things are very calm, and i havent lost a fish in 6 months...

ive kept one *female* with angels, large tetras, rtbs and a pictus :)

If I was being negative I would say put 10 pairs of convicts in a tank because it worked for someone for 2 weeks.

Instead, I'm trying to help someone so they don't end up with dead fish. I don't like when people give out false information.

I agree. It annoys me that some people get "peaceful" convicts and then go around saying that a pair won't cause problems. There is a75% chance IMO, that you will have a very agressive pair of cichlids, and it is best not to take chances with those odds ;)
