I just wondered what y'alls opinion on it were. I'm starting a 20 gallon long as soon as petco starts the dollar a gallon sale again, and would love to take the top rim off, or atleast the front portion. I'm honestly a little nervous about removing the whole thing. I've been researching it, and see a lot of mixed ideas on it all. I've seen a ton of success stories though. Is there just a huge overwhelming risk with taking the front portion off? I would of course leave it outside for awhile to see how it goes over.
