At the moment I have an Aquastart 60 litre, but have been thinking about an upgrade for some time.
At my local MA store yesterday, the new Fluval Vicenza 260 caught my eye. I was also looking at the 180, but decided that if I'm going to upgrade I might aswell splash out now and get the bigger of the two. This will be a big upgrade for me if I decide to buy!
Has anyone else got any advice they can pass on regarding the Fluval range? Good, bad, indifferent?
Thanks alot in advance!

I've no experience of the new Fluval range but I have heard that they are good tanks. We currently have the Fluval 1000 Duo and Fluval 800 Uno and find both tanks are really good. It's just a shame that they don't do really big tanks as we would have brought another one from their range.

Thanks alot for the speedy reply, stang1. I appreciate your input.
I must admit that I like the look of the Fluval Vicenza, and the fact that the external filter outlets are actually built into the base of the aquarium making them quite unobtrusive.

I agree, the new range looks great. The chap we deal with at our lfs showed us a catalogue the other day and they are quite impressive. If they had have done them in big sizes we would have brought one. We are getting a 5ft tank in a months time and sadly they did not have the Fluval in that size so we are getting a Rena.
If you do get one, it would be great to see some pics. :good:

No experience of the range you are looking at. However I have a Duo Deep 1200 and a Duo Deep 1000. Both are extremely well made without any problems whatsoever. The 1200 came with a complete kit to make it ready to go, but some of the bits and pieces weren't all that good. The 4+ filter is great though, as is the heater.

Hope that's of some help.

Irf.

I will try to post some pics, stang1, if and when I get the tank. I am very very tempted indeed - I think I may need to sleep on it for one more night!
Thanks for the info, Irf - it sounds as if a Fluval would be a good choice for me.
