hi

dont no if i should put this here but would 2 cons be ok in with a tyre-track eel??

thanx

well the tyre-track is bout 4 inches and it would be a 20 gallon but i dont no what sex of tyre-track do you no how to tell??

and it just has 2 convicts in it

thanx

a breeding pair of Convicts will become VERY aggressive. Oten killing anything in the tank that they are able to. If you have two female Cons... your chances will be much better... if you have two males it won't be as bad as a breeding pair, but will be worse than two females. But I doubt two males would co-exist in a 20 Gal peacefully anyway.

A tyre-track eel has no place in a 20gal as they get quite large....If you had a large enough tank with plenty of decor/hiding places it might be worth a shot...But in a tank that small i dont think the eel would stand uch of a chance against an angry con...The bare minimum for a pair of breeding cons is 29gallons....I wouldnt advise two males because like nutcase said they can become VERY aggressive.JMO

larger tank needed for the eel defo!
have heard of a pair of cons in a (20gal european?)
but i believe they were only using th fry as feeder...
pos. keep a pair in it but you'd have to remove the fry to a raisin tank -_-
two of either sex would be best, or consider other options
