Conditioners And Meds

Hello, what are your fave Conditioners and meds you like to use and what you think are the best ones?

I primarily use Aqua Safe water conditioner, and sometimes StressCoat. I think the Interpet range of meds is the best range of meds in general, i can't remember what company does Pimafix and Melafix (i think its Api or something) but they are good meds as well. When it comes to salt treatment, i use the Tropic Marin brand.

Im currently using the interpet meds. I was thinking instead of using interpet fresh start, to use API stress coat as it helps stressed fish

I like the api brand because it is so cheap and melafix and prima fix are from api( just checked the bottle). I also use api salt and jungle lab salt. And I dont use stress coat becuase it makes the fish make a extra coat of oil arounf the body and isnt good for stressed out fish because the energy used to do this makes them even moree stressed out.

I personally use a lot of the API products like StressCoat, Melafix, and Pimafix.

I use api's stress coat as a water conditioner, and i use it whenever I add new fish. I sometimes also use Nutrafin Aqua Plus as a water conditioner, which I thinks is good too.
Medecine wise, i use api's melafix whenever a fish gets a ripped fin or something as a preventative measure, I also use it when I add fish. I really like melafix, its made using tea tree so completely natural. It also has a nice smell and doesn't stain the water and things in the tank like waterlifes chemical medicines.

The api make seems to be very popular. Does Melafix, and Pimafix cover all dieases? Ive also noticed with the api range theres amino lock (i think its called) and another one which i cant remember. Whats the difference?

Just remembered what the other was called, api stress zyme

Stress zyme is one of those products supposed to contain the bacteria to help the filter, i think its useless, but i have a bottle so use it at water changes anyway. You should never need to use ammolock - but it can be useful if you get an ammonia spike in your tank for one reason or another and fear fro your fish, it works pretty well but is NOT a long term solution.
