Completely Re-Doing My Aquarium

I have a 55 gallon tank with, currently, the aqeon 55 gallon kit from marineland. I want to get the Marineland 250 watt stealth-heater, 2 Cascade 1500 canister filters, a 48" marineland LED, and a glass hood. Would this be to much or to little for 4-5 ropefish, 4 pitcus cats, 1 rhino pleco, 2 small synodontis cats, and 3 green severums? and should i get a different type of filter, and lights?

Cant help on the equipment side of your question as I dont know the makes, however, a 55g tank isnt suitable for 3 green severums (heros efasciatus) long term, each requires a 75g tank, 125g for the three to live together to full size. It is large enough for the rest of the stocking without the severums though.

Okay, thanks, what are some good mid level largish fish though?
