Complete Newbie To The Planted World.......

heya i got a rekord 120 all the usual juwel fittings but i got an extra air pump and stuff, all i have at the moment is a few plastic and silk plants and some bogwood, the substrait is just standerd B&Q play sand!!

I would like to be told how to go about the process of planting, im not looking for a really heavly planted tank just some real ones to go with the plastic and silk ones and sugestions on hardy plants for the begginer!

Caino....seriously, read the pinned topics...There's a lot of good info. in there.
In the meantime, i'll try to get you started, but first I need more info. from you if my advice is going to be of any use....

1. Is this your first tank? How long have you been keeping fish?
2. What age are you?
3. What fish do you intend to put in the 180?

That'll do for a start.....

Luke_e..... simply a question of available cash, no point recommending pressurised co2 to a 10 year old? Am i wrong? similarily, no point blinding a young guy/girl who only wants to grow plants with the science of a high light tank? Just trying to tailor the advice we can give....
