Compatible?

If you give them LOTS of space to swim and keep them in groups of AT LEAST 6, then they should be fine. (I wouldn't recommend the long-finned variety of zebra dannios, though. Just to prevent any possible "fin-nipping".)

Edit: I actually prefer leopard dannios... they are more peaceful and they look like miniature trout!

IMHO no
tigers are too aggressive, even for the resiliant Zebra danio

But that will be denied by tiger lovers everywhere

not contradicting you Danio, but my tigers and zebras are fine together. The zebras are soooo fast that I dont believe there is any hope of the tigers getting anywhere in the hassling stacks. :D

My zebras go 'mad' in the mornings (the tank lights are still off). They race around the tank chasing and tumbling with each other like idiots - really fun to watch. Other fish (including the tiger barbs) are completely ignored, although they do try to go round them

You must note though that I have 10 barbs and they have never given any of my fish any trouble. The pack is nearly always together minding their own business. If you only have a couple of barbs then the situation could be a lot different I guess.
