i have a fifty five gallon w/ 4 opaline and 4 golds and i put in 2 parrot cichlids and they are al fine living together oh and i also have black skirt tetras in their and knock on ood they all get on great!!!!!!

several peps told me they wouldnt

I am very glad it is working for you....

I had my blue gourami (opaline, marble, 3 spot WHATEVER) in my 55 gallon with 1 Pearl and 1 Gold Gourami and my 1st BP. They got on fairly well until I moved my Blue Gour. and my BP into my 30 gallon and then I got a baby BP.....WOAH did that change EVERYTHING!!!!! The Blue Gour. and BP never really liked eachother to begin with and I can only assume it was because of the baby being introduced, but my Blue Gour. and older BP went at it for days.....lip locked to the death....they HATED each other with a passion that would have killed one of them!!

I do have my Pearl Gour. in my 30 gallon with my 2 BPs right now and as I think I said to you before.....my younger BP and the Pearl Gour. fight pretty bad after every feeding time, but other than that they are pretty civil

y do u think i wil have problems im not gonna start off saying im right and u r wrong but if i did i would get a much bigger tank or mabye seperate some of my fish but i dont c y their would b n e problems they seem happy and have been 4 a while but what ever u say

LoveMyOscar is correct, im not taking sides here but soon you will have problems, while they are small they might not be agressive, but what about in a couple of months? just remember these guys come from the midas cichlid witch is one of the most powerful cichlids, my 8" parrot belts the crap out of my 10" oscar. I dont think Gouramis would last to long with them.

these parrots are already bout 6 inches long and like i said i wil get another tank for the gouramis
