U cant put Guppies with bettas but u can put platys

Platies absolutely. Guppies -- my betta attacked the guppies. Harlequins -- Risky.. I did a quick experiment with my harlequins last night to see if I could get them to school [they refuse to] by putting in one of my male bettas [the laziest one] to intimidate them a bit. He nearly killed them.

Platies are your safest bet.

Platies ae your best bet but it really depends on your bettas aditude. Some of my female bettas get along just fine with my swordtails but Jake my crowntail male is not allowed with the swordies. I put him in with the swordies once for a couple of days and he spent the entire time herding them in circles.
