Hey just wondering if dwarf gouramis would go alright with platys,mollies and zebra danios i've seen some really beautiful ones at my local. Is it true that you should only keep them in a pair of male and female or is my local just trying to get money out of me?

the one i have at the moment is only 10gallons and i only have 2 zebra danios in it i'm just trying to work out what to put in there, i was was going to choose from that list as i'm finding it hard to decide between them as i dnt think i could have all of them in a ten gallon but i do know i would really like to add dwarf gouramis and thought that if they didn't go with one or 2 of those fish it would be easier for me to make that list shorter. If you can help at all that would be great.
