Common Sense Has Kicked In

If your planning on an upgrade and then want to add some fish, your might be in for some trouble, usually best to add other fish with oscars when they are smaller, otherwise they might take offence and refuse to allow anything else in the tank, always gonna depend on their personalities as they grow of course.

Btw, did adding the powerhead for allow make a difference yet?

Im good mark and ye long time no speak i have just had a few changes as you can see in my sig but as the post above says pictus cats all the way i have 4 in with my oscar and he doesnt look twice at them plus pictus are little pigs so your tank might be just that little less messier

i do like pictus , and i may add a couple , im undecided at the moment . i know il have to decide sooner rather than later tho .

minx what is making me a bit reluctant is that while yes i do plan on looking for a 2nd hand 6x2x2 in the new year , work is very unreliable lately and i dont want to be in a situation where i need the upgradew instead of just wanting it , and not being able to get it . so im thinking that for now il leave things as they are , and if i can get the tank i want i may try putting a group of pictus in 1st then adding cheech and chong afterwards , and if that doesnt work they will have the new tank to themselves .

as for the flow issue , ive got an eheim internal filter im going to use as a powerhead 1st to see if it makes a differencwe before spending money that i cant really justify at the moment.

god being sensible sucks!!!!!

Hate sensible, would love to just spend spend spend regardless of the consequences, but these days, no chance! The powerhead should work just as well :good:

yeah its the 1 you can add/remove sections , so im gonna have just 1 section on and run it with no media .

yep not spending money suck dont it . i have afforded myself 1 little treat tho , ive ordered a blue moonligt for the tank at night .
