Maybe its just me... on a few occasions Ive posted items to members on here..... (Royal Mail a 1st class service for what you pay for wait till its privatised),
and see your service go down hill even more...... and prices go through the roof.

Anyway back to the topic..... It may be for plants/items/equipment that members pay to cover postage and packaging and a value that's negotiable...but it really irks me that some people cant be bothered to Pm or E-mail the sender..... that the item has arrived.

Agree with your point, its annoying for the seller, you don't even get a little notice to say thanks/the item has arrived.
IMO, PMing the seller the item has arrived should be compulsory for buyers.

It is nice when you get a message saying the item has arrived, I have mainly sold fish through here, I have had a lovely picture this morning of a fish I sold recently showing how it had grown.

I've had this happen on many occasions.
I would send fish out in small poly boxes (bought new by myself) next day delivery & sometimes with heatpacks.
These would maybe go out for FREE my only request would be to return the box via snail mail (to cut costs)
They dont return the boxes and there is no thank you letters. This I think is poor given that I'd taken the time to package and post at no large cost to the recipient. The least they could do would be to offer a thank you.
We should maybe look at adopting some kind of feedback system..........

Absolutely agree.
I once sent someone some filter media. Not even an acknowledgement that it had arrived. Never mind a thanks.
That was the last time I bothered.
