Well if tea tree oil is a mild antibacterial and cyanobateria is a bacteria then surely it would have some effect?Bignose said:1) Why would tea tree oil (Melafix), which is a mild antibacterial, work against algae? This is one 'algae' -- cyanobacteria -- that is really a bacteria, but most of the rest would not respond to antibacterials.
