Columnaris?

It's up to you, but i would just let the fry take there chances.

Hey, sorry to bring up a semi old topic, but I just finished my fifth day which is when the package says to stop treating but out of curiousity, I have enough pills for three more doses so should I continue with the doses to be on the safe side and to use up the three or is this a harmful idea?

Thanks!

Does it say anywhere on the package, "Can not overdose" or to continue after the cured?

Nope, thats why Im so confused. It says:

"Add one tablet per 10 gallons of water and repeat every 24 hours for 5 days. Repeat this 5 day treatment only once if needed. Important: Treat for 5 days even if visible signs disapper."

If it might be dangerous I wont, Its just theses are my breeders so I want to be sure that the disease is wiped out before any babies are born.
Thank you!

Bumpity bump.

I just need to know if I should treat today or just put the carbon back in and call it a day, and Im done! lol. thanks

Do a 30% water change and carry on treating.

I personally would get some antibiotic food as it is easier then to treat the fish that have been exposed and not the fry, I treated for 10 days with medicated food. if you buy it from a vet he will give you a liquid that can be added to the food so that you can mix it with the algae for the plecs. that way if the fry do get sick you can also add some to the liquid or ground up food for them.
