Colourful Fish

Another Betta or maybe a Dwarf Gourami!

i think the puffer may be the way forward if i can find some that is, my LFS had some green spotted puffers once and she wanted one then

puffer would be nice, just remember the water conditions (i'm sure its marine salt they need added) and diet they need.

also not sure if you have any local but every dobbies i've been in has them

Dwarfs are full freshwater, ad i have been reading up on tank conditions and diet, i'm sure i have seen them in 1 of my LFS so will try there 1st, once the tank is planted up and such

Dwarf Puffers are freshwater whereas Green Spotted Puffers are brackish.
Some can be weaned onto flake food but many people find they will only take frozen food.
They do require good water quality and good filtration. :good:

Dwarf Puffers are freshwater fish from Asia. Here is the website of Dwarf Puffer authority. They do not need salt, water needs to be a good standard though and diet is important.

Dwarf Puffers

frozen food is not a problem as i have it for the bettas, and i certainly have enough snails around :shifty:

I think from past experience so colourful guppis are platies or mollys and some neons would be good. they are only small fish and some of the colours are beautiful.

hope this helps

have got guppies everywhere  can't seem to keep platies or mollies for long and wouldn't put neons in a tank of this size.
am thinking DP or WCMM and a couple of shrimp

Pseudomugil rainbowfish.

All species stay pretty small.

Pseudomugil gertrudae are great little fish, although they can be hard to find.
