Color Change

They dont usually go pale unless they are feeling poorly or going that way I think that is what people are asking about. :good:
 
he could be constipated, try boiling a pea and mash it up to feed him this will clear him out if this is the problem
by the look of your updated pics it looks like hes built a bubble nest which is a good sign, is he feeding ok and has he lost some of his character as well?
 
I don't get what you mean by character ??

he has been feeding fine. By character you mean how he acts and stuff right? Well if you mean that than he hasn't changed a bit since I got him except for his color
 
no he does not. He seems fine except his color

I have had him for about 1 or 2 weeks. I cant really remember.
 
bettas losing color means they're either not feeling well, stressed, or getting older, if hes acting fine and eating he's probably not feeling poorly, so its prob one of the others or a combination of the 2. I would suggest you get a test kit and such. And not to be rude but if you don't even know what ammonia, nitrates, nitrites and such are, should you really be breeding bettas?
