Color Change in Betta!

I was looking through pictures of my Betta, and I didn't realize how much he had changed:

Before: (a little while after I got him)

Almost 2 years later:

As you can see, he has lost a lot of his blue spots, gained a lot more blue on his anal fin (and it has grown in size), and has devolved more vivid colors.

Actually, I like how he’s grown more. So if I could have his size now and his old colors, I would prefer that. However, I still love him how he is.

No sadly not. I did have another Betta at one time, but he died due to a faulty heater that cooked him.

I may get one in my 5g if I ever decide what to do with my Zebra Danio. But I just don’t think 5 gallons is enough room for a Betta, it really seems, after keeping one in the 5g, that it’s to small.

If I did get another, I would probably purchase a 10g tank.

No, I haven’t, but I like male Bettas better.

hm, i do have an old 15g. but i might need to get a new filter as it has an hob... it can also maybe be outside in a 37g tub? that sounds cool to me

they sometimes do not work, and better chances come with big tanks

Where do you even keep all these tanks? My floor would cave in with all that weight! I've got a two tank limit!
