Ok...so my MTS might be a little out of control.
I just recently found out that what I thought was a 10 gallon tank my wife bought, and got me started with this hobby is actually only a 5.5 gallon  , but that's a different story.

Since March I have purchased a brand new 37 gallon, used 46 gallon bow front, and today on my way home from work I purchased a new 20 gallon long tank.
I had too...I had a $3 dollar coupon, and it was marked down $5 if I used my pet perks card. It made it only $26.

Problem with the wife is only one of the 4 tanks I now have is actually in use. The other 3 currently reside in the garage awaiting there deployment into my master plan. I do have plans, biotopes, and stock list dreams for every tank, but I just seem to be collecting the tanks faster than the fish at this point.

Oh, did I mention an employee of mine told me she would give me her ex-husbands 125 gallon tank for free once she cleared out her garage enough to get too it!

:rip: after the wifey finds out about that... :byebye:

Hahahaha! That is typical, although people mostly get scolded at for having too many tanks occupying living space! One strategy is to take your wife to the lfs and let her choose some fish; that gives you a good excuse for setting up another tank! It usually works well :good:

Our house is a bit on the small side, so my husband has allowed me to have two tanks. One is already in use and the other is slowly being set up for next year.

I'm lucky in that the species I'm interested in keeping are few, especially in the tank sizes that I can have in our current home, so I don't really feel the need for more tanks.

I also put in a lot of hours on my current tanks, so I don't have the time or energy for more! I'd much rather put my love and money into one-two tanks than spreading it all out.

Also, my husband knows how happy my tanks make me. A happy wife is a good wife! Unfortunately, that notion doesn't work as well in your favor.
