I would guess thats just to transport them to a larger container at their village.

The bigger worry for me is that they don't leave any space to trap oxygen in the bag. Its all water and no air!!.

Whoever owns that pond wants to get a UV Steriliser lol. The water is greener than green. he, he

Fish will go on to a holding station in a neighbourhood village (large vats) and then await orders from a distributor for dispatch. Species - Quantity etc.
Our fish could quite easily be held in two or three holding stations/establishments before they eventually reach the high street dealers.

It is no wonder then that their organs can be damaged in transit. By the time they get to the LFS, most have pretty much had it. I was feeling for the poor bugger who was being held in the man's hands for what seemed an eternity. Pretty cool video, though. There have been a few of these circulating here today. Saw another with corydoras.

Look at that green water, people. That's how you get your Otos to breed.

Then I will accept the fact that my otos will never, ever breed. :lol:
