Here are some hard to get pictures of colin the kuhli loach and wife colinette!

hmmm i think Colinette maybe another Colin - I could see his wang...

lol joking aside, well done on actually getting a picture of them! if i come within a metre of the tank mine scurry away and hide!

the cheat way is to walk quietly up with the lights off, turn a dim light on so you can just about see them then POW fire the flash and suprise them!

You could add 6-8 more, preferably not given variations on the Colin name, drastically increasing the odds of them being confident to be out in public.

In addition, if you have not already tried, give them plenty of hiding places spread throughout the tank floor. With some nervous fish, the more hiding places they have available, the more secure they will feel and so the more they will feel safe being in the open.

These fish are natural diggers and would really appreciate sand if you can replace the gravel.

Kuhli's are great little fish i have 8 Panda'a in my 60l currently, there always out and about, its half gravel half sand they love it :lol:

i have a multitude of hiding spaces in the boat, another one i made out of rock that resembles a cave, there is a big hole in one of my rock ornaments and there is a trench at the back behind my plants for them to hide in as well.

I will get a few more, depends on my funds though (only 5 quid left in fund for this month!)
