sorry about the crap pic, took it with my phone!

to be honest I dont think you would need to dye a gourami, they are pretty colourful anyway.

There are loads of these about in the shops and they look as though the colour is achieved with selective breeding. I would be very surprised if they're dyed (but I could be wrong).

Normally dyed fish are obvious because the colour has no variation in it and looks quite artificial.

I have seen them blue-er than this and I'd say definitely bred not dyed.

Yup no dye there. The only gouramis I've seen dyed are giant gouramis and thick-lipped ones. The poor thick lips are dyed blue on the underside and are sold as "honey" gouramis. Ugg I hate that, especially since I fell for it early in the hobby, the dyed ones didn't live very long.

Yup, the dwarf gourami is available in lots of different colour morphs :) The only gouramis generally dyed are kissers and giants, as they are white/very pale.

thanx for clearin it up guys!!

im not as dumb as i look lol but i jus wanted to make sure and if they were i was gonna ask what i can do for the poor lil guys!
