Where can I find a co2 canister and diffuser, or whatever is needed to make it work? It's for a 10G. Would DIY work better? All I found for DIY were instructions for 29-55 gallons, which seemed too big. Thanks.

Get a hagen nutrafin co2 system. They are supposed to be the best for small tanks.I have just got one for my nano.

EDIT: Nevermind. Now I want to know about substrate, nutritional substrate. What brand should I get?

Yeh get a hagen nutrafin kit, it's ideal for a 10g.

ADA aqua soil is an excellent substrate but I tend to think its more for the experience hobbyist as it affects the water chemistry a fair bit and gives a huge NH3 spike when first added, so is really only for new tanks, not established tanks. Eco-complete would be a good alternative, as would the tropica base layer. Depends on what you want achieve looks wise.

I'm putting sand on top so it can be a corydora paradise. I guess I really don't have a theme, just the general of what plants I have. So I don't know. Something that blends with sand. Can I use root tabs instead ?Would the nutrients be the same?

Root tabs are ok, but not as effective as a plant substrate as they are in very specific locations that the plants have to find, better to just give the plants the nutrient right where you plant them.
