i have one of the above, how long would the canister last? are they as good as the gas systems that are a few hundred pounds, if not whats the difference? also should there be a constant bubbles in the cyclinder?

Should take an hour at most to get started, once mixture is added. I would look at the DIY yeast CO2 system in the planted tanks section, for a recipie for your own yeast mix. This will start and run stronger and longer You also get more control over the amount of CO2 with a DIY mix.

its started to put out some more bubbles, according to the manual it can take 48 hours to full start
