Hi everyone, just registered so am very much looking forward to all the helpfull info, and hopefully I can help others.
I wish to ask a question regarding disposable CO2 canisters, I am considering buying a Hydro NRG Advanced system is it easy getting replacement canisters for this system, thanks

Don't bother, its a good kit but the cylinder is 72g and will last a week at the most, on anything but 5lt nano. and the repalcements are £15! Its also expensive and you could get a full sized kit for the same money. Check out the link in my sig to a guide to using a fire extinguisher to get an excellent kit for less money ;)

Do the hydor kits not come with adapters to use with other refillable and disposible canisters?

I've been thinking about this kit for a 25 litre for aaaages, but I always find some other way to spend the money  .

This seems like a good deal to me, and a neat looking unit, but I've only ever used the nutrafin yeast based one, so pretty uch anything would.

I was thinking with the included adapters I would be able to use a regular big refillable CO2 bottle?
