I have a fluval Roma 125 litre tank quite heavily planted.

I was just wondering if a co2 system would be practical and beneficial as the plants are doing really well at the moment?

if the light wattage is significantly high then there is no need, Co2 sytems are generally for weaker, dimmer lights

I'd have to say that in my experience that's completely backwards. CO2 provides nutrition to the plants, which is used up faster the higher the light level. Low light levels use very little nutrition so supplementation is not necessary.

really!? well thanks for the new knoledge it makes perfect sence but they wouldnt thrive quite as much would they?

you wont really need it mate, to be honest.
Thanks for that Tizer. I will be renewing both the tubes shortly so that should help the plants out too

both of these bulbs killed my plants - I use tropical daylight from interpet - good UV spectrum and VERY high Temp!
