How are these powered, plugged straight into the mains on a 3 pin plug? (UK)
On being opened, off being shut?

Well on my co2 cylinder i have a solenoid and i have it plugged into a digital timer, this then structures when it is turned on and off.

Mine is a JBL setup and the solenoid valve plugs into my pH controller. Which is set to 6.8.

Read up on them and managed to price bits up at work for £21.70.
Bargain as most cost around £70
