Hey all,
Ive done the DIY co2 set up in my 2 foot aquarium.
i have a airstone under my filter on the right side of my tank.
The filter pushes the little bubbles to around half way or a little bit over.
is this ok? will the c02 get to the other side of the tank to?
will it all mix.
crude drawing of what i mean below

I would try putting the ayirstone as close as possible to the filter water intake. The flow of water there plus the impeller in the pump should help increase the amount of CO2 dissolving in the water.

I toyed with bio-CO2 for awhile. If you have decent water filtration/circulation in your aquarium, the dissolved CO2 should be distributed pretty well. However, many bubbles just release at the surface, so placing the air stone/delivery such that the filter flow helps to further distribute it is a good thing... Placing it in the filter may or may not improve the amount that gets infused in the water.
