I have some DIY co2 reactors using nutrafin bubble counters and a 2L bottle. Around the co2 outlet inside my tank there is some sort of “bubble looking slime” forming….What is this?

I plan on just removing it with a siphon hose, but I want to know if it is anything to be concerned about…..

Nothing to be worried about m8 its just a yeast build up, most diy setups seem to get this. I get a build up around my diffuser and just wash it out now and then.

there was discussion on this before, im not sure if it was here, it could be eliminated if you have a water based bubble counter, the yeast spores or fungal spores of the brew mix will get trapped there i think.... you could also try adding baking soda to your mix of your water is low KH.... im not sure about this, try researching on it... but if you dont want to do anything, dont worry about its, the build up is no harm really :) just clean it like what RYO said
