Sorry Aaron, just one more question, and probably a very stupid one at that.


The only thing you didn't link to in your guide was the CO2 tubing. Now can I ask where you got yours. I'm looking for about 3m and want clear stuff as it seems pointless having glass equipment and cloudy or black tubing.

You can get 20ft for a decent price on ebay, but the cynical side of me says they're just flogging me overprice regular airline. Is there a way to tell even if your holding in your hands or do you just have to take the word of the seller.

Aqua Essentials, who I know can be trusted only have black stuff at the minute.

i'm sure there are many ways of securing the FE, i fixed 2 lengths of velcro to the wall behind the tank. (they are screwed thro and wrap around the FE and secure at the front) that way i can accommodate different size FE's with no problems.

check out this defuser can be fitted externally and a good price, a few ppl on ukaps use them and not heard a bad word said about them.

I got mine from ebay, but the seller has stopped selling it now. I changed to nutrafin airline anyway as it is flexible and attaches & detaches easily. It is black though.
