Co2 Diy Or $$$$$

Hello fellow fish freaks, well it's time to inject some C02 into my 120l tank, plants plants and more plants, oh and some Discus and Tetras. My hope is that you Groovers can tell me: Is DIY ( yeast) a good intro to Co2 or should I forget about DIY and opt for the store bought wiz bang bottle, reg, soliniod etc etc. Being an Ozzie the more self build the better. " He who dies with the most tools wins"

check out the plants and planted section, there's lots of good tips on DIY CO2, including setting it up from scratch. I think one of the most popular methods is to buy a Nutrafin or similar kit, then DIY the CO2 mix. If your tank is too big for one kit, (probably), you could always make 2 injection kits with 2 bottles each, for either end of your tank. Keep us posted on how you go, 'cos i plan to DIY one in the next few months for a 65L tank.
