CO2 diffuser vs spiral reactor

Some people say that the Aquamedic reactor does not use 100% of the CO2. I just thought that since it looks similar to the one DIY kinda setup you can get at the store with the ladder, I thought it would work.

Ah, my bubbles are taken in by my canister filter and are completely dissolved before they can make it to the impeller. I just think the in-water CO2 reactors take away from the natural look of the tank, unless you can hide them well

The ceramic ones are supposed to do a better job.
