I currently put my DIY into the uptake of my external cannister. I'm running at just over 1 bubble per second. About once a minute I get a 'burst' of micro bubbles from my submerged spray bar so I assume my CO2 is building up in my Enhiem cannister and then being pushed through when it gets too much.

Does this sound like a good CO2 injection method? Would a ladder be better? When I used a ladder the bubble dissipated but still reached the surface.

Which method works best in your experience?

Cheers

This method works very well actually and providing the co2 isn't building up to the point of stopping the filter working then I see no reason to chance it. A ladder type will not be nearly as good. You could use a ceramic diffuser, but its really personal choice. It doesn't matter what method you use some bubbles will always reach the surface.

I stuck my co2 into my tetratec inlet.
No harm done just make sure there is no power cut or you use a solenoid :)

I believe** Dave spencer said a good piece of information about Diffusers tho
Plants do better if the bubles directly get stuck under their leafs
if you have a powerhead that can blow them about in the water or filter outlet and cause them to be trapped the plants will love you for it..
