Co2 3.7mg/l

just measured the co2 content of my water and it measured to be 3.7..
im very new to planting and dont know if this is good or bad.. right now im trying to grow a java fern. its a 20 gallon tank witha florecent 17watt bulb on it..

what should i do to keep my plant healthy.. do i need air or what should my co2 be at?

i might have measured wrong.

Java fern is an undemanding, low-light tolerant plant. So your non-CO2 injected, low light tank will be enough to grow it, slowly.
