Lol! Any that fit my original requirement! Preferably a colourful variety!

Avoid corys then with sharp grave. If you are on a budget, £3 for a 15kg bag of Argos play sand will be a better substrate for them and the rams too.

A. cacatuoides are easy to keep and the males look fantastic, a pair can be had for £15 so cheap enough here is my male to give an idea

Thats a bargain, and play sand is alright to use? Although I'm not overkeen on doing a tear down to replace the substrate, the tanks only been running about 2 months.

The apisto looks amazing! Peaceful?

Excellent well I want to move the tank at some point soon anyway so may aswell kill 2 birds with one stone.

yes fine i use it in all my tanks, As long as you dont have more then 1 male you should be ok. They can get aggresive if they pair up and lay egss but then again so do most good parents :good:

careful as the play sand i bought brought my ph up to 8.8

Hmm I have heard alot of people use it. Seems unlikely people would use it if it does that every time.

God, I've gotta contend with moving the blasted thing now, gonna be a nightmare.
